Ray Reid

Former UCONN Men’s Soccer Championship Coach 

Raymond Michael "Ray" Reid (born May 8, 1960) is a retired American college soccer coach best known for leading the UConn Huskies for 24 years. Participated in the national group Next Gen College Soccer Committee for US Soccer. He won one NCAA Division I title, eight Big East regular season titles and four tournament championships. Prior to UConn, he led Southern Connecticut State to three NCAA Division II titles. Reid holds the nation’s highest coaching win percentage (.769) and is a four-time NSCAA Coach of the Year.

Jeff Schaefer

Former Baseball Player 

Jeff Schaefer is a former MLB infielder who played five seasons with the Chicago White Sox, Seattle Mariners, and Oakland A’s during a 14-year professional career. A First-Team All-ACC player at the University of Maryland. Jeff has served for 16 years as a Regional Director with USA Baseball and is an entrepreneur, mentor, and nonprofit leader dedicated to player development, recruiting, and creating opportunities for young athletes.

Brendan Shaw

Hockey Coach and Business Development Executive

A dynamic business development executive with expertise in sports, entertainment, tech, and finance. Known for driving growth, strategic partnerships, and optimizing products, he has led successful exits and excels in new product development. As part of Brendan's coaching career, he has developed 10 young athletes who became NHL players.

Angel Lugo

Former MiLB Player & Coach

Coach Lugo, a Grady High standout and 1988 Twins draft pick, pitched for the Marlins and Blue Jays. He later founded Cadets Player Development Academy and, as a Top Velocity-certified coach, created elite training programs that produced top local talent and MLB prospects.

Michael Aufrichtig

Olympic Coach, Head Columbia University Fencing Coach, Former Board Member USA Fencing

Michael Aufrichtig, former USA Fencing Board Member (2014–2016), is a nationally recognized coach and head coach at Columbia University, where he led teams to multiple NCAA and Ivy League titles. Named 2016 Varsity Coach of the Year, he also coaches at the New York Athletic Club, developing national champions and Olympians. Michael brings strategic vision and a deep commitment to growing fencing.

John Rodriguez

Former MLB Player

A former American baseball outfielder who played two MLB seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals, winning the 2006 World Series. Signed by the Yankees in 1996, he broke out in 2005 with a .342 average and 17 home runs in Triple-A, earning his call-up and finishing his MLB career with a .298 batting average, 7 home runs, and 43 RBIs.
