GameRunIQ Recording Guidelines: Do’s & Don’ts
Simple best practices to ensure your soccer, hockey, or fencing videos generate the most accurate analysis.
Do: Record in good lighting and keep full body in frame.
Clear, bright lighting helps the AI capture movements and equipment with accuracy.
Don’t: Upload bad lighning videos.
Dark spaces, shadows, or strong backlighting can hide body movements, making the analysis less reliable.
Do: Stable internet for quick uploads and better analysis.
A strong internet connection ensures your videos upload smoothly and your analysis generates without delays.
Don’t: Upload on Weak or Unstable Networks
Slow or interrupted internet can cause failed uploads, incomplete reports, or processing errors.
Do: Use a Clear, Uncluttered Background
Choose a simple training space without distractions. This helps the AI focus only on the athlete’s actions.
Don’t: Record in Crowded or Busy Areas
Crowds, moving objects, or messy backdrops can confuse the AI and lower report quality.
Do: Record in High Quality (720p or Higher)
A minimum of HD ensures clear, sharp videos that generate accurate metrics. Always review your clip before uploading.
Don’t: Upload Blurry or Low-Resolution Videos
Clear, bright lighting helps the AI capture movements and equipment with accuracy. Natural daylight or well-lit indoor areas work best.
Do: Record Enough Activity
Aim for at least 20–30 seconds of continuous practice so the AI has enough data to analyze effectively.
Don’t: Upload Very Short Clips
Clips that are too short won’t provide enough information to generate useful insights.
